Maark HQ was a busy place while we were all working from home during lockdown. It expanded. Grew more comfy. Gained amenities. Opened a space for events. And all without changing addresses.
We’ve tripled the office space at our Charlestown headquarters over the last six months. The reason? Maark is growing as a company, and we needed a bigger den for the pack.
It feels like yesterday when we were just two rooms in an old Hood Milk building in Cambridge. Or when the entire company could fit around a rented hotel conference room table downtown. But it was not yesterday. It was years ago. I am just old.
Today, our crack teams of developers, designers, project managers, account managers, and operations personnel have grown, along with our client list, the size of our projects, our ambitions, our dreams, goals, the office breakfast order, our tab at the local bar.
And now we have a bigger space.
Sure, we still need to decide the wolf-themed names for our newest conference rooms (I keep pushing for Air, Teen, and Big Bad, but nobody’s listening to me), but we now have plenty of places to wander, to take a break, to strategize, to change up our scenery, to have a bite to eat, to assemble a team, to jump on an idea, to host clients and events.
Even if we’re only at the office two days a week.
