Maark is growing, and when it came time to start looking for new designers to add to our creative team, we wanted a way to show prospective applicants who we are and what makes Maark different from other agencies. So we got our creative team together and did what we do best: collaborated on a site to tell the story of the design team at Maark.
That, we discovered, is the story: what makes us different is how we work together.
At Maark, everyone's input is essential, everyone's feedback is welcome, and everyone gets to feel ownership of the work we do. This is central to who we are. It's why we call ourselves a "pack." And because we come from diverse backgrounds and our ideas are so wildly different, the work we make together is better than what we could have done alone.
This is exactly how we built our "Design Fiercely" site — through collaboration.
Our goal was to create a voice that represented our creative team. We brainstormed to find a theme, and when we started to put this into a visual design, we let the team explore any idea, no matter how unexpected or unconventional. Eventually we settled on a visual voice, and together we built a site where you can meet us, see how we work, and learn the design principles that unite us, which we formed collectively as a team.
We are spread out all over the world, from many diverse cultures, with many different skills and talents, and we all agree on this: that when we share this diversity with each other, it brings out the best in all of us. We design better in a pack.
