 As an Engineering intern at Maark, you will work as part of a small team to help craft, build and support web applications from design to deployment. You’ll have the opportunity to work with every part of the software lifecycle from front-end layout and interaction to APIs to testing to automated deployment. We work on highly creative projects, utilize a wide variety of technologies, and empower each of our developers to create innovative solutions and explore and master emerging web technologies. Applicants should have knowledge of programming fundamentals and familiarity with development processes, as well as a curious, disciplined mind with a desire to learn and help create world class software.

Account Intern - Business Development

As an Account Intern at Maark, you will work as part of our growing accounts team, supporting Account Directors to focus the agency’s collective creative imagination, business acumen, and technology expertise toward innovative and groundbreaking marketing and product concepts for strategic accounts.

  • Work alongside/shadow Account Directors to understand how client engagements are being executed and delivered on time, on budget, and that the high-quality standards maintained by the firm are being met. 

  • Shadow Account Directors to see our client engagement strategies in collaboration with internal senior management and discipline leads. 

  • Assist with work on digital engagements by participating in work sessions, learning the overall planning process, how we define interactive tactics within programs, and how we create program plans. 

  • Shadow on the planning of engagements including goals, deliverables, schedules, and budgets with client teams and Program Managers. 

  • Shadow to see how proposals are delivered and negotiated in existing and net-new client relationships.   

  • Shadow internal processes to understand budget / revenue tracking and invoicing.   

  • Assist with delivering on consulting deliverables required in the early stages of most agency engagements.

Lead Animator

The Role

As a Lead Animator at Maark, you’ll focus on animating video, brand graphics, and digital experiences for clients across multiple industries.

 

What you’ll do

  • Animate and render high quality videos for a variety of industries and use cases

  • Collaborate with team members to develop visual concepts

  • Produce creative for the entire video process through storyboarding, asset creation, designing style frames, and developing animatics

  • Work with voice over artists to record audio with the right tone and pacing

  • Influence the development of other animators, giving direction and feedback

What we’re looking for

  • A deep understanding of animation and motion graphics

  • Experience animating in both 2D and 3D for 7+ years

MAARK is seeking a Senior Front-End Web Engineer to drive UI and front-end development for B2B and B2C web applications. This position will help create the front-end architectural strategy and contribute primary development work for our clients’ web app platforms. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-growing company, is adaptable to new technologies, and is passionate about creating the best software and UX on the market.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development and implementation on B2B and B2C web application projects

  • Spearhead front-end JavaScript development strategy and participate in the development of a front-end architectural strategy and standards for our client’s web app platform.

As a Lead Product Designer at Maark, you will own the design for one of our larger accounts, driving the product direction, developing a shared vision for the team, and executing with the help of other designers. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product design process on one of our larger accounts, guiding the team, setting the vision, and being the creative point of contact with the client.

  • Develop the visual language, infusing the brand voice into the product experience and interface.

  • Perform research to inform your design decisions and product direction, sometimes working with research teams to help find insights.

  • Work in systems, maintaining and growing modular atomic libraries to benefit your team, the engineers, and the client.

  • Collaborate with the engineering team, working to define a shared language and avoid “throwing things over the fence.”

Maark is seeking a Principal AEM Software Engineer to design and develop web-based applications. The role will be a hands-on development lead role involving development work, documenting solutions, tracking tasks and providing updates on project status as well as leading code reviews and organizing knowledge transfer sessions with internal and external teams. This is a key senior level developer/lead role within an emerging team. Individual must possess leadership ability, and desire to help define and drive the team forward.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of AEM developers and continue to build out our team in Boston 

  • Work with VP of Technology to define AEM standards and execution plans.

  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, providing project updates and project support

  • Provide progress updates for the team to project managers on individual projects

  • Develop custom AEM components

  • Design and develop AEM OSGi services

  • Lead internal design reviews

  • Lead code reviews for technical staff

  • Lead day to day development efforts of development team

  • Co-ordinate complex changes and requirements with frontend developers

  • Develop new Web Applications as identified by supervisor and management through packaged and customized applications

Requirements:
